Getting to CMI by plane:

Outside the Václav Havel airport arrival hall, take the bus no. 119 in the direction "Nádraží Veleslavín", or other buses going to the city centre, see detailed instructions. There are signs at the airport with departure times or you can find a connection here. You can buy tickets in the yellow machines (coins only; some machines at the airport and in the city centre also accept cards) or in the airport hall or at the bus driver (coins or small banknotes are preferred). The ticket price is 32 CZK (machine) or 40 CZK (at the driver) and the ticket is valid for 90 minutes. Buses may be crowded, approximate travel time is ~20 minutes. From Nádraží Veleslavín, you can use metro line A to the "Muzeum" station (direction "Depo Hostivař") and then switch to line C (direction "Háje") to get to "Chodov" station, which takes you another 40 minutes. The total time from the airport to CMI by public transport is thus approx. 1 hour. The other alternative is taxi (~35 minutes with moderate traffic, up to 1 hour in rush hours, price about 600 CZK = 24 EUR from the airport to the city centre or 800 CZK = 32 EUR to CMI). You can also use a shuttle bus or car, see www.prague-airport-transport.co.uk/‎

Getting to CMI by train:

You will probably arrive to the main train station ("Hlavní nádraží"). Take the metro (red C line, direction "Háje", don’t forget to buy and validate the ticket for 32 CZK, sold at newsstands or in the yellow machines) and go to station "Chodov" or "Roztyly". From there you can approach CMI by foot.

Getting to CMI by bus or car:

There is a free parking possibility behind the CMI building. If you plan to use a bus coach to get to Prague, you will probably end up in the Florenc main bus station. From here, get the red C metro line (direction "Háje") and go to "Chodov" station.

Getting to CMI by foot:

CMI can by approached by foot from the "Chodov" or "Roztyly" metro stations (red C line). The walk is approx. 10 minutes. The sketch of the way is given below.

Accomodation:

Participants are kindly asked to book independently their accommodation. There are several hotels within approx. 15 minutes walking distance from CMI or you can book a hotel downtown or near to metro line C (easy transport to CMI). There are plenty of hotels in Prague downtown, you can check e.g. booking.com.
